The CAROLINA THEATRE Theme Song written

 A writer and recording artist since 1969, Barry Stagg
has shared the spotlight with such luminaries as Kenny
Rogers, Anne Murray, Bobby Bare, Tony Orlando &
Dawn, Denny Doherty of The Mamas and The Papas,
and Merle Travis.

 His works range from Musical Theatre to Pop,
Blues, Jazz and Country. Barry's latest recording,
Ballad of the CAROLINA THEATRE has him
exploring America's musical roots. He describes this
song as..."a good dose of Appalachia with a sprinkling
of Uptown Country".

 The artist now makes his home in Spruce Pine, where
his time is spent writing new music, seeking out the
hidden treasures of the mountains and, along with
his wife Barbara, promoting the NOSCO Academy, a
theatre school for young people.
